Ambree . . .

Ambree got a hair cut! I cut Cade's hair, and then thought I would give Ambree a trim. Well, that trim turned into about 2 1/2 inches because I kept trying to straighten it out! I was a little sad, but figure it will grow back. It is still long enough to do most of the hair styles I do on her hair, and it will probably be nice for the summer! I don't have any before pictures because I wasn't planning on cutting so much off, but I thought her reaction was funny after she saw the hair on the ground, so I took a few pictures. She just stared at her hair and said, "What's that?" When I told her it was her hair, she was very fascinated and had to look at it up close! :)

While I am on the topic of Ambree's hair, I thought I would share some of the fun hair styles I have done with her hair in the past few months. She is at the stage where she really likes me to do her hair and then look at it in the mirror. She loves wearing bows and loves being "pretty" although we try to remind her often that it is her smile that makes her pretty, not just her bows! :) A few of these are originals, but most of them I have found on various hair blogs that I have links to on my blog if you are interested.

I wish Brinna had thick enough hair (and patience!) for me to do that! I think it would be so fun...but...well...maybe someday she'll really want it...for now I'm lucky to get her to let me brush it! (:

WOW! Those look awesome but I have to say that it's a little intimidating to think about trying any of them. Yikes!

Holy crap! I would not have the patience for that. Plus Sam's head is still crooked so they would probably look funny on her. LOL! You are good, though!

You are amazing! Those hairdos are awesome! I wish Brenna's hair was as thick as Ambree's so I could do some of those. Hopefully it will thicken up soon. Thanks for the comment on my blog. I hope you don't mind that I check your blog periodically to see how the Poulter/Williams family is doing. Keep in touch!

I am thinking about doing Maddies' hair this morning and the screaming and wiggling jsut as I combed and put in a clip! I have to do cheyennes as she runs down the hall. I love the beautiful styles and sometimes I think about trying it but between the arguing and my lack of patience from arguing, I decide it isn't worth it for that day! Our foster daughter 5 years ago always let me do her hair fancy so I did have it easy for awhile:) The haircut is cute! I have to tell you I got overconfident last year after cutting AJ's. I went to give Maddie a trim and I ended up cutting over 2 inches too because I couldn't get it straight! I haven't touched it since. It was cute but cutting girl hair is way out of my league!

Ambree really lets you do alot. I have been able to do a couple of those with Sydney (Macey's is to fine) but she freaks out if I take to long, so any of the ones that have to many parts are out of the question. I should start taking pictures. I never even thought of it until seeing yours. They look great!

Way to go, Trenda!! Those look awesome! I have neither the time nor the patience to do something like that with Brooklyn's hair. Plus it doesn't look nearly as cute in her hair as it does in a younger girls. I'm just grateful she still asks to wear bows every day!!

I need you to teach me how to do all these cute hairstyles. Jacqueline has long hair and I do nothing cute with it. Aubree you are very beautiful & you have one talented mommy!

Cute hair. Oh, about hair, I loooved the girl who cut my hair. She's at Landis Salon. It was kind of pricey ($50 plus tip, just for the cut) but she was really good. I also heard rave reviews for someone else there...I can't remember her name. Look up Landis Lifestyle Salon on citysearch.org. My girl's name was Memorie. Good luck! PS- you owe me an e-mail.

So I'm home sick from work and was cleaning up some of my stuff and came across the name of one Craig P. and decided to look him up and here he is. This is Tyler Fowler from the old Ricks days. I'm in Bountiful right now, teaching and coaching at Hillcrest High School in Midvale. Thought I'd drop you a line and see what you've been up to. I know Pat and Bill live around here somewhere...anyway if you are interested in dropping me a line sometime, email me at tyler.fowler@jordan.k12.ut.us

All those hairstyles are absolutely amazing! When I was just trying to do a part down the middle with Abs' hair today, I was thinking of Ambree's hair and wondering how its even humanly possible for them to turn out like hers. Abby's are pathetic in comparison. Way to go, Mom!

Holy moly! I am fascinated! What a talent Trenda! I can't get Jaedyn to sit still for a ponytail let alone a 101 with twists and crosses and bows and amazingness!!!

Those are AWESOME! I hope Brooke lets me try something like that someday. She hates sitting still for her hair right now! You really have quite a talent there!
